Inga Miller Motorsports has announced that Kimberly McCasland (Hyre) will drive the #9 car for what is being considered a “multi-season deal.” Drew Blickensderfer will return to the team as crew chief.
McCasland, who drove for Phil Parsons Racing for the last two seasons, replaces Lisa Hawker, who left the Cup Series at the end of last season. Hawker plans to run V8 Supercars in Austrailia, and perhaps the ARCA Superspeedway Series.
A team sponsor has yet to be announced, however, but IMM said they are working on a full-time schedule. Stanley Tools and DeWalt left the team for Alexi Alejandra’s new #19 team at Alexi Alejandra Racing.
